We are looking for a ServiceNow CMDB Administrator who is passionate about data integrity and process optimization—ready to ensure the accuracy and performance of our clients’ IT environments.

 

Your Role

As a ServiceNow CMDB (Configuration Management Database) Administrator, you will be the guardian of data integrity within our clients’ IT ecosystems.
Your mission: ensure that the CMDB remains a reliable, accurate, and comprehensive source of truth—supporting key ITIL processes such as Incident, Problem, Change, and Asset Management.

Key Responsabilities

  • CMDB Administration: Configure, maintain, and continuously improve the ServiceNow CMDB.
  • Data Integrity: Implement processes for CMDB population, discovery, reconciliation, and auditing to guarantee data accuracy.
  • Service Modeling: Create and maintain relationships between configuration items (CIs) to map business and technical services.
  • ITIL Support: Collaborate with IT Service Management teams to ensure the CMDB supports their operational needs.
  • Automation: Identify opportunities to automate CI discovery and maintenance using ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, or third-party tools.
  • Governance: Define and enforce CMDB policies, standards, and governance procedures.
  • Reporting: Develop dashboards and reports to monitor CMDB health, completeness, and compliance.

What you bring

✔ 2–3 years of hands-on experience in CMDB administration or IT asset management on the ServiceNow platform.
✔ Strong understanding of the ServiceNow Common Service Data Model (CSDM).
✔ Practical experience with ServiceNow Discovery and related tools.
✔ Deep knowledge of Configuration Management principles and ITIL processes.
✔ Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills for data reconciliation.
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) required; CMDB/CSDM certification is a major asset.
✔ Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
✔ Bilingualism (French and English) is a strong advantage.

Preferred Certifications 

🎓 Required: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
🎓 Preferred: ServiceNow CMDB or CSDM micro-certification, ITIL 4 Foundation
